Babies, Babies, Babies

September 27, 2010

Over the last 5 months several of my dear friends have had new little ones come into their lives.  Congratulations to all the families whose family has grown recently.

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
(Psalms 127:3-5 ESV)

September 23, 2010

I was over due on a trip to see Chad and his new place that he had about a year.  Mom and I got to spend a week end visiting Chad and Misty and Joanie and Leslie.  It was great trip!

Before we headed over to spend the evening with Joanie and Leslie we had dinner with Chad and Misty

Taken in Chad’s backyard

Enjoyed a day with Leslie and Joanie

Pictures taken at one of the Clubhouses by Joanie’s new house

Back at Chad’s that evening to cook out.  This is Chad and his neighbor Bart

Chad and I were teaming up to make stuffed shrimp.  Super yummy!

Our Anniversary Hunting Trip

September 7, 2010

I wonder who’s idea it was for us to go to a hunting ranch for our anniversary???  We went to The Haecker Safari Ranch inbetween Leakey and Camp Wood.  The owners are friends of ours and we were excited to get away for a couple of days.  Thanks Ryan and Sabrina for letting us come out!

We sold some of our Rams to them so here is a picture of Jared unloading the Rams.  I just happened to snap the camera as the first Ram was heading out…..mid air!

We are heading out to get a tour of some of the ranch

Since it was our actual Anniversary they had a wonderful steak dinner waiting for us and even our own anniversary cake.  It was really sweet.

Eight Happy Years!!!!!

A couple of pictures of the Fallow they had in their high fence.  I already have a white Fallow on the wall so I’m good.  🙂

Isn’t he pretty!

Late in the afternoon several Axis deer showed up right in front of the lodge so Ryan aka Rhino aka our guide and Jared were trying to get set up just in case a shot came available.

Jared wasn’t able to get a shot with his pistol before they ran away……so close

I think I set my record in a blind.  It was about to start raining so we headed out early to beat the rain which meant we were in the blind for about 5 1/2 hours.  Needless to say I got a lot of reading done that afternoon.  Jared enjoying a snack.

Fishing in her pool

September 5, 2010

She was just too cute with her fishing pool sitting there in the pool.  She said there are fishes in here (ya on your pool….not that you will catch… ever) but that didn’t matter she still tried.

Fun with Tyler and Maci

September 3, 2010

While Jeff and Kim were off cleaning up Jeff’s storage building we had the kids come over for a fun night.

Apparently Jared with a towel on his head was super funny to Tyler and Landry

My Umbrella…ella ella

September 2, 2010

Landry has a fascination with umbrellas.  She would take mine everywhere with her so finally at one of our many trips to Academy she got to pick up her own.  Since it rains so much in San Angelo I’m sure we’ll get to use it a lot!  🙂

Dancing The Hokey Pokey

September 2, 2010

She will put the song on repeat and keep it going.  This tells you to put your tongue out and your lips out and even your bottom out, so it’s a different version.  I tried to catch her doing some of the dance.
